Description

Peridot, the birthstone for August, is seen as a gem of good health, healing and compassion.

Ancient Egyptians called peridot the “gem of the sun,” believing it protected its wearer from terrors of the night: Cleopatra loved it for its beauty also. Whilst ancient Hawaiian folklore told stories of the gems being tears from the goddess of elements, Pele.

A design which displays an ageless beauty and timeless elegance; a central oval cut peridot is flanked by two two trefoils of diamonds. All stones are claw set in 9ct white gold for minimum intrusion and maximum security.
