About

Thomas Brown Mitchell opened up his jewellers & watchmakers in Perth in 1936. At the time his was one of nearly a dozen family run jewellers in the Fair City. The Second World War caused a hiatus for many businesses and upon return from active service Thomas was again to be found at his watchmaker's bench in North Methven Street. In 1973 he was joined in the business by his son Graeme and the shop continued to flourish with Graeme bringing in modern equipment to the workshops to compliment his father's traditional methods.

The extension of the retail side of the business continued to grow even more so after 1976 when Graeme and his wife, Christine, took control of the shop. In 1995 T. B. Mitchell moved to new expansive premises in Perth's prestigious St. John Street and has gone from strength to strength. The store can now boast an enviable collection of some of the world's most renowned jewellery and watch brands including TAG Heuer, Oris, Longines, Raymond Weil, Tissot, Shaun Leane, FOPE & Georg Jensen.

Today they continue to offer the excellent service which has become their hallmark. Their knowledgeable staff amass in excess of 100 years experience in the jewellery trade and are ready to assist with all manner of enquiries.
