Legends and folklore place garnet among the most ancient of talismans.

Not only was it prized as an ornamental jewel, but it was also thought that it could bring peace, prosperity, and good health to the home. It was carried for protection by warriors going into battle and those who wanted to ward off diseases. Some ancient healers even placed garnets in wounds, praising its healing powers. They are the birthstone for January but their colour is autumnal - making them ideal to wear all year round.

A design which displays an ageless beauty and timeless elegance; a central oval cut garnet is flanked by two two trefoils of diamonds. All stones are claw set in 9ct white gold for minimum intrusion and maximum security.
