The wait is over! The most highly anticipated TAG Heuer model in recent years is finally here, with the return of the Autavia.

The Autavia Cup was a competition held by TAG Heuer to allow their customers, fans and enthusiasts to vote on which model should be the inspiration. Over 55,000 votes were cast and the resultant victor was the Mark 3 ref.2446 model from 1966: affectionately known as the "Rindt", after Jochen Rindt, the Formula 1 driver who used to wear the watch, even whilst racing.

The 2017 model honours the original beautifully whilst making improvements to the specification in concession to the modern watch wearer. This model is the first to be powered by the HEUER 02 in-house calibre, which can be admired through the sapphire caseback.
