TAG Heuer Carrera : the timeless collection.

In 1887, Edouard Heuer made history with the oscillating pinion. In 1963, Jack Heuer named the Carrera collection after the Carrera Panamericana, a road race of legend. He imagined an iconic design with a wide-open, easy-to-read dial and a shock-resistant and waterproof case tough enough for even the most intense road wear. A mythical series was born.

Formula 1 superstar Ayrton Senna’s relationship with TAG Heuer began informally in 1988, when he joined the McLaren-Honda Formula 1 team. Not only did TAG (the parent company) own 50% of McLaren, but Ron Dennis of McLaren was a shareholder in TAG Heuer. It is the watch brand most closely associated with the motor-racing legend.
