9ct White Gold Ruby & Diamond Set Openwork Oval Pendant Necklace

Early cultures treasured rubies for their similarity to the redness of the blood that flowed through their veins, and believed that rubies held the power of life.

A bold yet delicate pendant. An oval cut ruby is set within four 9ct yellow gold claws and surrounded by a series of increasing diamond set ovals. The drama of the diamonds creates quite the impact but the space between each oval offers a delicate air to the piece.

The fine 18", 9ct white gold trace chain is fixed either side of the pendant for a sleek and contemporary look. It also features a shortening station, meaning the piece can be raised or lowered as necklines (or modesty!) dictate.
