The ancient Greeks used malachite to create amulets to protect children and much like turquoise, it was said to grant its wearer the ability to foretell impending disaster. If kept with money, malachite was believed to increase wealth, and ancient traders often wore the stone whilst making deals in the belief it would bring them a more favourable result.
This bright, fun necklace can be worn to add a splash of colour to any outfit.
With a shortening station the pendant can be raised or lowered as necklines (or modesty!) dictate.
