Diamond Rings

Diamonds have a long history as beautiful objects of desire.

Formed deep in the earth under extreme heat and pressure, diamonds are ejected violently upward until they arrive at or near the earth’s surface when they are forced from their hiding place by nature or by man. They are then cleaved and cut and polished by experts until the potential of their natural beauty shines through.

The Pear cut is one of the oldest diamond cuts and its origins can be traced back to 15th century Belgium. Closely tied to the development of diamond polishing, it was created in the 1400s by Flemish cutter Lodewyk van Berquem of Bruges, inventor of the diamond-polishing wheel, or scaif.

All stones are claw set in platinum and 18ct yellow gold, allowing their full beauty to be enjoyed thanks to the minimal intrusion, whilst also offering security, protection, and peace of mind.
