Since early times, aquamarine has been believed to endow the wearer with foresight, courage, and happiness. It is said to increase intelligence and make one youthful. As a healing stone, it is said to be effective as a treatment for anxiety. Said to have fallen from the treasure chest of a mermaid, in the folklore of Greek and Roman myths aquamarine became the sacred jewel of Neptune.

An ocean of blue surrounded by a sparkling frame of diamonds set into bright white gold. Suspended from a delicate 18", fine white gold Prince of Wales rope style chain.
