In ancient Sanskrit, ruby was called ratnaraj, or “king of precious stones”.

Red is the colour of our most intense emotions—love and anger, passion and fury. It’s associated with objects of power and desire—like fast cars and red roses. Early cultures treasured rubies for their similarity to the redness of the blood that flowed through their veins, and believed that rubies held the power of life.

Three round cut rubies are set alternately with a pair of round brilliant cut diamonds, offering a beautiful contrast between the rich, lustrous red of the ruby and the dazzling sparkle of the diamond. The classic claw setting used on this ring is both ageless and timeless: securing the stones without obscuring them.
