MasterCut Jewellery

Designed by Jean Paul Tolkowsky, the MasterCut diamond has 89 facets, 32 more than a traditional round brilliant cut diamond. Tolkowsky, who have seven generations of diamond cutting knowledge, have created a unique diamond cut exuding elegance and beauty.

It uses a crown break to disperse the light through the crown. An elongated pavilion then focuses the light onto a unique star, faceted into the culet, which directs light back up through the crown and table. This star effect is clearly visible and each piece from the MasterCut collection comes with it’s own StarGazer allowing you to view deep inside the stone.

Each piece also comes with it’s own Certification Portfolio which allows you to track your individual diamond from the rough stone, through to the finished article, using it’s Kimberley Certificate number.
